POPCORN SALES 2011
popcornThis year, consider participating in the Show & Sell portion of the popcorn sale.
It helps you sell more. When you place a Show & Sell Popcorn Order (order sometime between September 6 -September 16), you are able to pick up your popcorn on September 30th. This allows you to take the product with you when you are selling. Customers are more likely to make a purchase when they can get the product right away.
It saves you time. You will have fewer orders to deliver at the end of the sale.
There is no risk to you. You are checking out the products from the Council. At the end of the sale, you are able to return any products that you did not sell.
Remember that popcorn sales run from October 1 - October 22
Please go to the following page for important forms and information for your sales: 2011 Popcorn

LETTER FROM THE NEW TALL OAKS DISTRICT EXECUTIVE
Hello everyone!
I would like to introduce myself as the new Tall Oaks District Executive.  I am very excited to be a part of Boy Scouts of America and I am looking forward to working with all of you, who continue to make this program great.  Although I am new to Scouting, I have been a part of many volunteer organizations in the past such as AmeriCorps, 4-H Afterschool programs, and at the Chippewa Valley Museum encouraging teen guides.  Having been a volunteer I know how important it is for organizers to be knowledgeable, dependable, and available as a resource for volunteers.  I am here to make your job easier and provide the tools you and your unit needs to continue to develop and have fun.  I look forward to meeting with all of you and being a part of your district.
Have a great day!
