CUB SCOUT LEADER TRAINING
STEP 1:
Take Youth Protection Training online at: www.myscouting.org
Just register for free and start the training!
All parents and leaders MUST take Youth Protection Training.  This way everyone knows the rules that keep your children safe during Den meetings, Pack meetings, outdoor activities, and other events in Cub Scouting.  It’s a simple step to protecting your Cub Scout!
STEP 2:
Take Leader Position Specific Training online at: www.myscouting.org
Just register online for free and start the training!  Or take the training in person just call the Scout Service Center to sign-up.
Every parent should take Den leader specific training.  This ensures that your children have a fun and successful program.  You would never drop your child off for camp without first learning a little about the itinerary and services that the leader will provide for your child.  This training will allow you to learn how a Den meeting should operate and what your child should be doing to succeed!
