FleurDeLis Welcome to the Community Service Page!
This should be your "one stop shop" for all your Community Service needs.

Chippewa Valley Council Scouting for Food
Scouting for Food will take place on Saturday, April 9th and Saturday, April 16th.  Packs, Troops, Crews and Scouters are encouraged to participate by distributing door hangers on April 9th in their community or neighborhood and then picking up food on April 16th and taking it to a food pantry of their choosing. Door hangers will be available for pick up at the March District Roundtables, at the Council Service Center, or from your District Executive.

Good News Contest
Making community service a part of your Pack or Troop's overall program is a true win-win for all involved. The community benefits as organizations or individuals receive valuable help. While you're giving service, your Scouts are learning to work together with others to do something that's good for your community, and it teaches your youth some valuable lifelong lessons about being involved in their community and the benefit that can be provided by volunteerism. In addition to doing the Community Service, share what you are doing! This is a great way to make connections in the community and get the word out about all the great things your Scouts are doing. This may be a way to recruit new Scouts or parents to your unit as well. Because of the importance of positive news in our communities and the Scouting Program, we will be continuing the Good News Contest for 2016. For more information, please go to the following link:
